Great match this evening between Raharney U'12 v's Turin. The result was Raharney 1-09 Turin 1-04. Both teams showed some lovely skills. Very enjoyable match/
_ Our Under14's had the misfortune of coming up against a Castletown Geoghegan team who were on top of their game, and maybe also flagged a bit after their midweek semi final encounter, but they lost their final today with a score of 4-02 to 3-10. After being totally outplayed in the first half, they came out in the second, and restored their pride...
Remember U 14 final in Cusack Park against Castletown Geoghegan this Sunday @ 5.30pm. They gave us some great entertainment in the semi, so lets all get out to support them.Also, our seniors play a division 1 league match against Clonkill in Clonkill at 7.30pm. Unfortunately I don't have final score, but we were entertained to a cracker of a match against St Earnans. Scores were level at full time. Raharney led for most of the match, but St Earnans kept up considerable pressure, and a goal in injury time put them a point ahead, but fortunately Raharney levelled before the final whistle went. Raharney got off to a slow start with Delvin tearing into a 7 point lead by half time (Raharney 0-5, Delvin 2-6) . The second half started with 2 quick points by Raharney followed by a Devlin goal. This was to be Delvins last score with Raharney putting up 2-09 without reply to win by 5 points.
