RAHARNEY HURLING CLUB – CLUB NOTES FOR WEEK ENDING 14/03/2015

CLUB LOTTO

Lotto results for week ending 2^nd March 2015. Numbers drawn were 01, 07, 18 and 21. There was no winner. There was six match three winners. Congratulations to Liam Leech, David O’Shea, Eamon Coyne, Jack & Rory Cole, Kathleen Nolan and Linda Greville who won €35 each. The promoter’s prize was won by Declan weir The jackpot for week ending 14^th February 2015 will be €11,600. Raharney Hurling Club would like to thank all of its patrons for their generous and continued support.

CLUB MEMBERSHIP

Club Membership must be paid in full by 31^st March 2015.  Rates are, Family €50, Senior player €30, Juvenile €20, Ordinary €20, OAP €20. Membership can be paid to Club Registrar, Paddy Connaughton, or any Committee Member, detail of all which can be found on our website www.raharneygaa.ie.  Participation in Committee meetings, training sessions and games will be restricted until membership is paid.

MONSTER BINGO

Raharney Hurling Club are delighted to announce that we will be holding a “MONSTER BINGO” on Sunday 12^th April 2015, in the Mullingar Park Hotel. It will be held between 3.00pm and 5.00pm. There will be a total of €7,000 of prizes on offer on the day, inclusive of jackpot prizes totaling €2,500. Books can be purchased on the day and will cost €25 for a double book, €20 for a single book and €10 for a short book. The club invites everyone to come along on the day and enjoy a great day with the possibility of winning some great cash prizes.

LEINSTER SENIOR LEAGUE

It was a disappointing trip to Wexford for the Senior Hurlers who took on Ferns ST. Aidans of Wexford, in the Leinster Senior League. Despite a late rally by Raharney, Ferns ran out winners on a score line of 2-13 to 1-09.

On another note congratulations goes to all club players who represented the county over the weekend in what was a successful one for both Minors and Seniors in their respective matches.
