Raharney Hurling Club Notes 17/08/2014

Adult hurling fixtures were not available when notes were submitted. They will be up on ‘raharneygaa.ie’ and facebook as soon as available.

Senior Hurling Championship

Raharney played Crookedwood last saturday in the Senior Championship. Final score was Raharney 8-19, Crookedwood 0-07

 

Intermediate Hurling Championship

Raharney played Brownstown on Sunday last. Raharney won with a final score of Raharney 2-16, Brownstown 0-12.

Junior Championship

Raharney lost the Junior Championship semi final match against Lough Lene Gaels Monday last week, with a final score of Raharney 1-16, Lough Lene Gaels 2-15

U 16’s

Our u 16’s get a bye in the first round of the League Championship

U14’s

Our under 14s play against St Earnans, on thursday 21stth in Killucan, starting at 7pm sharp. This is the 2nd round of the Hurling League Championship

U12’s

Raharney U12’s had a another good win against Turin last week. Next game is against Castlepollard on Wednesday 20th, in Castlepollard at 7pm

U10’S

Our under 10’s are out against Turin this Tuesday

U 8’s

U 8’s hurling Blitz is scheduled for Friday 22nd of August. Venue is provisionally Killucan.

Club Lotto

No winners of this weeks jackpot of €5,600. Numbers drawn were 3, 10, 24 and 26.  Three match 3 winners of €70. Congrats to Ger Flynn, Joran Loran, & Amelia Shaw. Pitch Development

 

Thanks to everyone who turned up last Saturday morning to help with getting the pitch grounds ready. Grounds are now looking very well.

Lord Mayor Competition

Raffle for High Nellie, and separate raffle for All Ireland Hurling Tickets with overnight accommodation available from Noel Conroy 087)7979390.

Thanks to everyone for supporting the walk, run, and cycle.  All funds are for Joristown Park development.

Fund raising auction scheduled for August 30th in Joristown Park at 2pm. All sorts of items from household, to machinery, to turf, hay, etc.  Anyone who wishes to donate saleable items, please contact Noel Conroy, Pat Cunneen, or Hans Mulvaney. All funds in aid of Joristown Park development.
